Our goal is to turn the whole city into one big edible garden!
“We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars.”
― Oscar Wilde
– Edible Native Forest Garden – We have a site beside Merlin Park allotments where we have planted some trees. We need enthusiastic volunteers to continue the project. If you are interested please contact us.
– Spirit Centre Garden
We meet at Scoil Chroí Íosa Garden of Transition every Sunday from 1pm to 5pm. New volunteers and visitors always welcome!
Learning about food and biodiversity starts with sticking your hands in the soil. We highly recommend getting stuck-in at your local community garden. The ones we know of in Galway are listed below. If you’ve got a garden that you would like to have added to the list, please let us know.
