‘A Vision for Galway 2030’ Launch

The Mayor of Galway City, Cllr. Frank Fahy officially launched a new 100 page publication entitled ‘A Vision for Galway 2030’ on Saturday 28th November at the Galway 2020 Hub, The Cornstore, Middle Street.

The finished booklet is divided into eight chapters based on eight topics: energy; food and water; infrastructure; community and education; arts and culture; economics; waste; and inner transition. A sucessful crowdfunding campaign raised money to pay for free copies of the publication to be given to schools and municipal libraries across the city. ‘A Vision for Galway 2030’ is freely available to download as an interactive (hyperlinked) PDF here: VD-BookletA4Interactive. A dedicated website with the entire content of the document was also launched at the same event: https://avisionforgalway2030.wordpress.com
