Everyone is welcome to visit the garden on Sunday between 2pm and 5pm. There’s not very many jobs this week, so it’s a great time to come for a tour. We will be planting some rosemary cuttings, and sharing seeds and gardening info. You’re welcome to bring a flask of tea and enjoy the benches made by Paul:)
We will also be planning how we can help kids from the school get ready for Halloween, so please come along and bring your skills and knowledge.

We are organising a film screening of the award-winning ‘Chasing Ice’ on Thursday 10th October at 8:00pm at 091labs on Flood Street, Galway. The film will be followed by a group discussion about how we can remain personally resilient in the face of the seemingly overwhelming challenges posed by climate change, about how we might change ourselves so that we are strong enough to fully contribute to this great shift. All are welcome to come to either or both events.
ABOUT THE FILM:
Acclaimed photographer James Balog was once a sceptic about climate change. But through his Extreme Ice Survey, he discovers undeniable evidence of our changing planet. In ‘Chasing Ice’, Balog deploys revolutionary time-lapse cameras to capture a multi-year record of the world’s changing glaciers. His hauntingly beautiful videos compress years into seconds and capture ancient mountains of ice in motion as they disappear at a breathtaking rate.
